Alan's Helpful Ham Technical Tips

PLEASE NOTE CAREFULLY

(Please note:  I'm sorry this is necessary guys, but I am getting emails from people who are trying out these ideas on this site.  In case someone gets hurt or causes a lot of damage, I have to point out that this site is dedicated to ham humour (humor).  I am not criticizing anyone because a long time ago I was a new ham.  I just want to make sure that everyone knows that everything in these pages is either lampoon, satire or, in good old English terms, taking the Michael.

DON’T DESPAIR

You haven’t been inhaling too much lead solder or breathing in too many of the old transformer smells.    I’d be the first to admit that you may have seen some of these pages before on other web-sites but the truth is that over the years I have changed ISPs many times and don’t know how to get rid of the redundant pages!

When the ARRL reviewed an earlier version of this site in ‘QST’ I had an email from a guy who said he enjoyed it but it was a heck of a mess.   I think that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me.

Enjoy.
